Welcome to India Coast 2 Coast 2027...

After the success of 'Cobra' in February 2025 and the Rajasthan tour in early 2026, Dorothy's heading back out to India for another coast to coast adventure from Chennai to Goa.

From the Bay of Bengal on India’s east coast to the Arabian Sea in Goa, the route is much the same as 'Cobra', taking in a mix of coastal roads, historic towns, winding mountain roads, tea and coffee plantations, wildlife reserves, heritage sites and some of South India’s best scenic motorcycle routes.

Starting in Chennai, the ride heads south along the coast to Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry, before turning inland towards the spectacular Kolli Hills. From there, we're heading cross the Nilgiris through Ooty and Masinagudi, on through Bandipur and Wayanad, and then entering the coffee-growing regions of Coorg and Chikkamagalur.

The route then takes us through the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of Hampi, followed by the forests and waterways of Dandeli, before finally reaching North Goa.

The ride will be run in accordance with Dorothy’s Road Trip format, with riders self navigating in small groups (or solo), making their own exploration of this incredible country, safe in the knowledge that back up and support (medic and mechanic) is never far away.
