The 'A' Team
Over the years I've come to trust a small group of people who help me on the tours, some might even be leading your tours. These are people that embody the spirit of the Speed Shop, who share the passion for adventure and the joy of motorcycling. The activities of the Speed Shop wouldn't be possible without this motley crew of motorcyclists and general all round good eggs.

Head of Road Tours
Ben Catt
Ben's a CBT instructor by trade so has the patience of and nurturing abilities of a saint. A great organiser with boundless energy for two wheeled travel and exploration. As dependable as they come, with 20,000 miles and counting on hi trusty Voge 300 Rally.

Head of Exotic Affairs & chief porridge maker
David Shaw
Dave's been an active part of the Speed Shop almost since inception. He's as calm as they come and an adept problem solver and diplomat; skills essential to any good adventure! He's also in charge of porridge making on LEJOG.

Head of Trail Tours
Julian Gardiner
As an ex submariner, Julian's the modern day MacGyver, with exceptional people and scouting skills. A strong rider and the person to have around when things go wrong or something needs sorting in a fix. He sounds Australian, but is actually from Worsley.

Head of Housekeeping
Ben Ely
Ex police officer, ex carpet fitter, ex Jammie Dodger salesperson, Ben's done it all, commonly on his 18 year old 1200 GS or trusty 44 year old XL185. Solid, dependable, switched on. A great man to have around when you just need to get things done, or for a story to be told...

The Wise Owl
Mike Belcher
Mike 'the bike' Belcher is an ex racer and current pilot of a modified Himilayan 411, a bike we both agree is difficult to beat. A dry delivery of wisdom is Mike's forte, as well as good cheer and an assortment of terrible t-shirts.

Head of medics
Matt Watson
Another ex submariner, with 10 years as a nurse and trained in martial arts. A provider of exceptional medical back up and support on some of the more far flung adventures. Matt rides a Royal Enfield Classic 350, though more power is soon to beckon.

Head of Woodwork and the Exotic
Dom Brady
Dom's a carpenter by trade, with strong experience leading sail boat tours around the world. He's now small bike enthusiast, piloting TTR250s, Scram 411s and a KTM 640 when he's in the mood. India is his favourite place. Travelling in general; it's in his blood.
