WHAT IS IT?
A nigh on 500 mile run along the coast of Devon and Cornwall, taking in some of the highlights of the South West, including Hartland Quay, Cape Cornwall, the Lizard Peninsula, Tintagel - home of King Arthur, Polperro and the stunning roads over Exmoor and Dartmoor.

FORMAT

On the lunchtime of the first day we'll meet just off the M5 near Bridgewater, before embarking on a stunning ride along the North Devon coast. Along the way we'll ride the rollercoaster A39 through Minehead, Porlock and Lynton, stopping off at Valley of the Rocks before making camp that evening, ready for the next day's ride into Cornwall and along the coast, all the way to Land's End.

Another night under canvas before the direction turns 180 degrees, this time riding the southern coastline down to the Lizard Peninsula, before ferry hopping across the narrow rivers and inlets of the south coast, through Polperro and out to our last camping spot just south of Dartmouth.

Journey's end comes at Union Road Moto Velo in Crediton the next day - Sunday - with coffee and cake before heading off our separate ways.

This is a relaxed leisure ride, with manageable days of around 150 miles, plenty of stops for refreshments and photos, with places to get food on the evening.

PLEASE NOTE: The route does include some twisty single track roads and narrow Tarmac lanes with tight corners. The route is novice friendly, but could be challenging in places with option to self-navigate around.

HOW MUCH?

The cost per person is £275 with a pillion an additional £60. Places secured with a £50 deposit.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Included in the price is three days of guided riding, three nights camping and ferry tickets for the short river ferries along the way.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?

The price doesn't include your fuel, food and spending money.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

You'll need a well serviced and road worthy bike. Any bike will do, but bear in mind the pace of the main group will be in line with legal speed limits so if you come on your nifty fifty you might be a bit off the cruising pace, so anything that can sustain at least 50mph is advised.

You'll also need basic camping gear - tent, sleeping bag, pillow and mat - and some waterproofs, just in case. For peace of mind, it's advised that you have full breakdown cover for your bike just in case you do have problems that are beyond simple roadside repair.
