WHAT IS IT?
Devon Dakar is two days of riding and navigation around Devon completing challenges en route, passing through check points along the way.  Many of the check in points will have the rider taking in places of interest and seeing some of the best sights Devon has to offer. It's basically an excuse to come down to Devon and ride some amazing roads and explore some of the places of interest, all in the format of a friendly competition, with prizes for the winner.

WHEN IS IT? 2nd - 5th June 2022. Arrive on the Thursday afternoon, ride Friday and Saturday, leave on the Sunday.

WHERE IS IT?
Camp Dorothy (just outside Braunton, North Devon), with onsite restaurant and pub.

There is hard standing for anyone for anyone who wanted to bring their bike down in or on the campervan. No change in price.

​

HOW MUCH IS IT?:  
£145 per rider 

Pillions £60

Secure place with £50 deposit.

HOW WILL IT WORK?

• Riders choose to be a lone rider or to rider with others (no more than 6 riders in 1 group).      

• Riders choose their own route - on road, heading for far off markers or relaxing with those closer to base. 

• Riders may choose how they navigate (SatNav, GPS, maps, road signs). 

• Riders ride their own bike (all bikes must be road legal) 

• Riders choose their own start and finish time each day (within event hours) but must start and end their ride at Camp Dorothy each day. 

• All riders are responsible for themselves and must adhere to the Highway Code.

• Prizes for the winner.

This is a light-hearted, laid back long weekend of riding designed to showcase the best that Devon has to offer in terms of riding and scenery. Prizes will be given, a band will play on the evening and good food will be eaten and new friendships made.
