Welcome to India...
After the success of 'Cobra' in February 2025 (coast to coast from Chennai to Goa), this time we're off to Rajasthan on Royal Enfield Himalayan 450s.
We'll fly into Jaipur on the 3rd March and fly out again on the 15th March
Cost of the flight (not included) is currently sitting at around £550
One of the real highlights of the trip is that we're going to catch the tail end of Holi, the festival of colour. This is basically a huge country wide carnival of colour, music and energy. We'll experience the climax of it as arrive in Jaipur, with a day's sightseeing before we take off on the bikes.
This is a circular route, taking in the main highlights of Rajasthan, from the ancient temples of Jaipur, to the golden sands of Jaisalmer, the blue city of Jodhpur, the frescoed havelis of Mandawa and the lakeside charm of Udaipur. There's going to be some good riding on this, but also good opportunity to get off the bikes and explore the places we pass through.
The route will be mainly Tarmac, although being India expect some interested dirt road detours around road works, some blown sand and some general rough road riding that the Himalayan 450s will be more than capable of.

Riders need to be proficient riders - not experts but just competent and accepting that riding in India takes a bit more focus and commitment than back home. They need to in good health with any health issues declared at time of booking. Riders must have and supply details of sufficient travel insurance, as well as gain the necessary visa for a tourist trip in India (around £80).
Riders need to be aware that this is the first time Dorothy's has run this trip and worked with our partner in India so expect the odd rough edge but this is an adventure, one that you'll never forget.
