The start of a new adventure...
is a new venture on the coast of North Devon.
Born out of ten years of motorcycle travel and adventure, the Speed Shop is home not only to UK Postie Bike Adventures, A2 Adventure days but also the new Royal Enfield 650 Twins. The Speed Shop also serves as base for anyone looking for advice, inspiration or even just a cup of tea as they explore the incredible riding roads and beaches that the area has to offer.
So please feel free to have a look around the site, check in and say hi and both Dorothy and I look forward to seeing you down here sometime...

GET AWAY THIS SUMMER WITH DOROTHY's GREAT BRITISH STAYCATION
With another tricky year for overseas adventures, the Speed Shop is proud to unveil a series of five day adventure camps, giving riders the chance to holiday on the spectacular North Devon coast and ride all three fleet of bikes; the posties, A2 adventure bikes and the new 650 twins.
You'll spend a day on each, with a day off in the middle to unwind and do something different; learn to surf perhaps on one of the nearby award winning surf beaches such as Saunton or Croyde. There's also great walks to be had, or just chill out on the beach.
You'll also be fed and watered throughout, with the only thing you'll need pocket money for is your lunch when out on the road.
On an evening there'll be entertainment, with a movie night, guest speaker and a BBQ.
It really will be a great chance to get away from it all and hopefully take in some of the Great British sunshine.

WHY VISIT NORTH DEVON?
Many skip through Devon on their way down to Cornwall, oblivious to its more relaxing charms. But head North off the A30, aim for Exmoor and enjoy one of the most untouched and scenic parts of Great Britain. Better still, turn off the M5 at Bridgwater and follow the stunning A39 all the way through Minehead, Porlock and Lynton before hitting the famous beaches of Wollocombe, Croyde and Saunton, just a stone's throw from Dorothy's Speed Shop.
If you're heading in from the east then stop off at the magnificent Valley of the Rocks, Porlock Weir for its excellent food or the Hunters Inn for some real backroad discovery routes.
Having ridden around the world, there's no place like North Devon, happy to call it home.
